Session for horse & rider

The complete toolkit — in one pair of hands.

Instead of coordinating five different therapists, you get every treatment modality in a single session — addressing causes, not just symptoms.

All therapies in one treatment

Licensed Heilpraktiker, veterinary medicine studies, TCM, chiropractic and osteopathy — combined according to what your horse actually needs.

Horse and rider — one appointment

As a healing practitioner for animals and people, I can treat you as well. Because a tense rider never makes for a relaxed horse.

Doping-free & competition-compliant

A doping-free way to give your horse a final muscular and emotional boost before a competition — fully in line with anti-doping rules (ADMR).

On site — internationally too

Competition and private stables in Germany, Denmark, Croatia and Florida. Saddle fit and hoof balance checks on request.

Everyday problems I can treat, improve or heal.

Discomfort or pain means "too much or too little energy". I find the disturbance — even when it isn't located where the symptom shows.

Competition preparation

The doping-free way to give your horse a final muscular and emotional boost before a test.

  • Coordination problems — jumping and pole work
  • Strength deficits, muscle atrophy, rapid fatigue
  • Reduced weight-bearing capacity
  • Irregular rhythm — horse doesn't move freely from the shoulder, strides too short or too long
  • Lameness
  • Generally restricted mobility
  • Supportive care for disorders of the cardiovascular, urogenital, digestive and hormonal systems

Seven treatment modalities — one goal: free energy flow.

Every living being is a triad of body, soul and mind. When the energy flow is interrupted — for instance by an injury — the whole system suffers. My therapies restore the balance.

01 Acupuncture massage: treating a horse's back with both hands Energetic method Acupuncture Massage after Penzel (APM)

Even after an injury has healed, traces remain: overloading, protective posture, unphysiological compensation. The APM method identifies the disturbance in energy flow and brings the "energetic flow system" back into balance.

02 Kurt Walter preparing blue kinesio tape while the horse nuzzles him Medi-taping Kinesio Taping

Permanent micro-massage of muscles and nerves — relaxing or stimulating, depending on tape colour and direction of application. Activates lymph flow (e.g. for phlegmon) and works well on scar tissue. Stays on short coat for up to 5 days.

03 Manual examination of a horse's chest muscles Traditional healing method Leech Therapy

Sterile medicinal leeches release a complex mix of bioactive substances: they improve circulation, reduce inflammation and support the body's natural healing — particularly valued for local swelling and haematomas.

04 Kurt Walter in close, trusting contact with a horse Impulses for energy flow Chakra Therapy

Chakras are the body's energy wheels — and the emotional part of the system. Targeted impulses restore free flow and stabilise the horse mentally as well.

05 Blue colour light on a horse's leg to dissolve interference fields Light therapy Colour Light Therapy

Monochromatic light in the range of 380 to 780 nanometres — used to dissolve interference fields and stimulate the flow of energy. Each colour works in its own way.

06 Green laser light for scar care on a horse, using a handheld laser Laser therapy Laser Therapy

Focused laser light stimulates tissue regeneration — particularly valued for scar care and the precise treatment of individual areas.

07 Dry needling: acupuncture needles in a horse's shoulder muscles Trigger point treatment Dry Needling

Myofascial trigger points are treated with acupuncture needles — located by careful palpation, as they are not always where the symptom appears. The goal: giving the muscle back its original length, strength and quality of movement.

On request, I also treat dogs and small animals.

NADA ear acupuncture: ear with acupuncture needles following the NADA protocol

NADA Acupuncture

I treat people as well as animals. NADA ear acupuncture is a standardized protocol with five fixed points on the ear — used to support stress relief, inner calm, better sleep and resilience during demanding times. As a certified NADA practitioner, I use it to calm and strengthen the autonomic nervous system.

Knowledge paired with intuition.

For more than 30 years I have devoted myself to holistic, effective healing methods. I began by treating people — but for around 20 years I have worked mainly with horses.

For many years my practice took me abroad: to Denmark, Croatia and Florida, in competition and private stables alike. I have passed my experience on to practitioners who trained with me.

It was so impressive to see how you approach the horses, how they respond to you and what the result of your work is. What you did with that horse was unbelievable. Thank you for those moments.
